Dear Professor,
I should have told you this in class on Tuesday, but I wont be here this Thursday for our appointment to talk about my paper. The track team is leaving for Iowa on Wednesday for a track meet. I just wanted to notify you and ask you if it was alright if I came by Tuesday some time if you wanted!!
